Modise Matekane

Modise Matekane is an admitted attorney, conveyancer, and notary public with a right of appearance in the High Court.
He has more than 30 years of legal experience, of which eleven years were in the prosecution service: district, regional, and high courts of the Republic of South Africa, and the remaining years in public service, mainly in procurement compliance & litigation, customs litigation, and civil litigation.
Experience:
- Prosecuted criminal cases in the district, regional, and High Court.
- Prosecuted Criminal appeals
- Participate in various procurement regulatory and governance committees.
- Assisting with contract negotiations regarding procurement matters.
- Advice on the preparation of public tender documents as well as the procurement processes.
- Reviewing policies and procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Public Finance Management Act disputes and related compliance measures.
